Nestor Bigirindavyi is a Lawyer Advocate and holds a MA Degree in Peace Studies and International Relations. He is skilled in contract negotiation and minimizing legal risk through negotiation and vetting. He possesses a working experience in administrative positions and has demonstrated strong experience in legal advisory services. After his Bachelor degree in Law, Nestor Bigirindavyi worked in the Ministry of Justice of Burundi in 1999. From 2000 to 2008, he worked for insurance corporations by serving in cross-departmental functions to provide legal interpretation of various legal instruments to different divisions in insurance corporations, to draft, vet and review different types of contracts. He was involved in litigation support, including legal research, factual investigation, record review, and legal documentation. In 2009, he was admitted to the Burundi Bar Association where he focused on providing expert legal advice, and litigation services. He has demonstrated solid ability to design legal defensive and proactive strategies. Nestor Bigirindavyi gained strong skills and competence in Peacebuilding from his MA studies, and possesses a good understanding of concepts deployed in the analysis of conflict situations.Nestor Bigirindavyi has proficiencies in many other domains, notably: International Law; Human Resources; Coaching; Communication; Management; Leadership; Corporate Finance; Global Business in Practice; Financial Markets and Institutions. He is fully conversant in English and French.
